Hilang Child – Every Mover
This was the record that kept drawing me back to it this year. Not that some other records didn’t do that. I just don’t know anything about Hilang Child AKA Ed Riman. There was no reason for my ears to perk up except for he having made a great album. I think this dreamy pop is hard to pass up. Dreamy electronic pop that has you so enraptured by the beauty you don’t even care what the lyrics are saying.Peep the video below and I think you will agree.
What are the lyrics saying? It doesn’t matter, the music controls the spirit of this record. I find something new and interesting hidden in the production every time I listen to this. There is nothing earth shattering here, but it takes talent to make a consistent record from beginning to end. This does that.
